SPECIAL EXPERIENCE

During my stay in Germany I joined several organisations where I have demonstrated outstanding pedagogical (as Instructor) and organisational talents. My significant contribution has been as Event Coordinator (Taekwondo Gala 1999 as one of many achievements). I have been single-handedly responsible in setting up a "model" in making Taekwondo accessible to all interested participants.

My way of promoting Taekwondo attracted overwhelming student enrolments'.  For my exemplary commitment to the Sport itself I was invited to present my work in several other sports events. I also acquired a broad knowledge in the following fields: Translation, Project Management, Event Marketing and Public relations. I also worked as Workshops & Special Event Coordinator.

Beyond that I was occasionally Mediator in multi-cultural conflicts in a project of the office for multi-cultural affairs of the city of Frankfurt, than I was in charge of a group of migrant women from Greece in the migration centre also located in Frankfurt, and in the year 2002 I was interviewing migrant women (Greek, German) in the context of a quantitative social research for the University of Essen.

Within the range of security matters I have worked from 1993 to 1995 in Germany and from 2005 to 2007 in Greece. Fields of activity were protection of individuals and protection of industrial/commercial objects.

PERSONAL DATA

I had the opportunity to grow up in a multicultural environment and to develop as a born linguist a special feeling for communication. This became part of my studies and career.

I have had the privilege of working and living in North America and in Europe and to travel in several European countries as well as in other countries like Korea and Egypt. The years abroad gave me a global feeling and allowed me to get a better insight about other cultures. I have gained a deeper experience and understanding into this complex issue of living in a multicultural environment. As a world citizen, I consider myself very fortunate to have learned so much about humanity from the diverse places I have been.  With my international views and project management experience I have been successful in adapting myself to new challenges. My key approach is centred on combining strategic vision, operational common sense and target focus.
